I have a ton of stuff that will go to charity this week (corkboards, etc.) but for the most part…here tis. The newly revamped home office. Posters from The Poster List.
Anyone see that cd that’s on my little corkboard? That’s a movie that the Fiance made for me for Valentine’s Day last year of him scrubbing the bathroom. If this place ever catches fire, I’m grabbing the Fiance, the Cat and that DVD. It’s priceless.
I love the printers drawer that I picked up last weekend when I was hanging out with Phyllis. It was a Mother to clean. So many grooves. Let’s just say, it’s clean but I would not store your jelly beans in it. I like just looking at it. It’s relaxing. What can I say?
It is sooooooooooo cold and sooooooooooooo windy today. I don’t want to open the door…cept for the nice man who’s about to deliver sushi.
One more thing…I need some help creating a banner/button for my blog (2 sizes). If this is something you know how to do…and you’d like to be paid with a brand new still in the package P-Touch Home & Office Labeler. Send me a shout. XOXO
Well I just got the you-know-what scared out of me. Fiance was not home (he’s on his way). Firetrucks come roaring to the house. WTF? Four or Five BIG firetrucks outside and one or two of the little truck ones. The house next door (not upstate) has God knows how many people living in it (they umm…don’t use the frontdoor) and the firemen broke in. No clue what was happening but one of them told me to stay near the door in case I need to be evacuated. Great.
Guess what I learned (but probably already knew). The only things that mattered, that I ran to grab included:
the cat carrier
Tal – who got unceremoniously smashed into the bag and locked up tight
my engagement ring (didn’t have it on at the time, it’s a wide band…yadda yadda yadda)
the Fiance’s medications – I tossed in the orange Longchamp
my purse – the red Longchamp
The heck with rest of the crap, including the dvd of the Fiance cleaning the bathroom (how weird that I posted that earlier today and then this…). So I sat here with my pile of “Grab N Runs” and waited. They finally left so I guess everything is OK. The cat is still in the bag…and she’s so pissed. I just don’t want to let her out yet in case she hides.
That reminds me, FDNY are…SUPER HOT.
So much for a boring Sunday renovating the home office…
Did I mention that the FDNY is hot?
