Do you remember in the 70’s…how every adult had a sign in their kitchen that proclaimed something about Guests & Fish stinking after 3 days? Or something along those lines? They always made me giggle. I found this ceramic dish (with hook to wall mount) at a flea market a while back. It just makes me chuckle so hard. What can I say? I’m easily amused.
File this under tips or random nuttiness. I need ‘to do’ lists, it’s how I get things accomplished and remember measurements and other assorted tidbits. Crossing something OFF once it’s done…pure bliss. I wasn’t good with scraps of paper. I realized that I had lots of greeting cards – more than I would ever realistically send out – so I started using them to write my lists in and file paperwork that needed immediate attention (like that Michael’s coupon! or the FREE Pledge rebate!).
So here’s my most recent card. I’ve been working on this one for a few weeks. I’ve run out of space so I’ll rewite whatever hasn’t been handled onto a new card and start a new cycle.
Hey, it works for my feeble brain…and it fits in my wallet.

Now that is a good idea – as to the real kettle vs electric kettle – I suppose there is some value – but I big puffy heart my old school kettle and telling my boys to “put the kettle on.” We are sooo very civilized.
That is such a great idea
Now I know what to do with my tons of cards….now that I e-mail everything.
It goes without saying that I love that guest thingy. Oh, funny sayings. And the J card! My daughter already has the paper bug like I do, and she’d be all over those.
I got those J cards on clearance at Target a year or two ago. They came with thick plastic bubble stickers to put over the J to make them look fancy. Ummm, not.
