Got home last night around midmight. Tal wouldn’t let me sleep, she had missed me and therefore insisted on playing ‘Paw’ all night. That’s a great game where she repeatedly touches your closed eyes with her paw till you open your eyes to play with her. Well, it’s a great game to her…not so much for her jet-lagged mommy…
You know you can’t go away without a few disasters. Thankfully, none were tragic. First I called home and found out that the furnace was leaking. Matt-The-Contractor will be fixing that with the plumber asap. Then I found out my niece’s car had rolled down a small enbankment – she’s fine. Totally walked away from it with only a seatbelt burn. Thank God. She’s had a rough summer all around. I think I’m going to bubble wrap her when I see her next.
So now I need some silliness…
May I present to you the hottest of the hot pinks…the plasticiest of the plastics…the picture frame.

Also, wandered into a Disney store Sunday night and what to my wondering eyes should appear? Those darn crown hooks…for $12 each. Score! Think I might spray paint them black. I don’t love the metal look.

What are you going to do with the crown hooks?
We shall hang our royal robes from them of course!
Love the hooks!
Welcome home! Glad you survived. Looking forward to the pics!
