I started working on felt goldfish and got bored about 10 minutes into it. Even the cat took a nap. LOL Sorry to disappoint. I’ll toss these in a ziploc bag. Maybe my Mom will be inspired to finish them. I’ve moved on to lighting…
Tomorrow, should my back be “ok” I will be zipping down to West Elm to pick up the lighting fixture for the living room. This lighting fixture to be precise:
They come in three sizes:
9.25 inches- small
13.25 inches – medium
16.5 inches – large
Do I get the medium or the large? Yikes. Assume I should just buy BOTH and return whichever one doesn’t look good. I don’t want to have Mr. Electrician make two trips. Anyone know of a light fixture size to room proportion ratio that I should be on top of?
Here’s pictures of the living room…pink tree is from my sister’s baby shower last year…old pics…

the ceiling looks like this…minus the dork in the picture…

Speaking of West Elm…any Long Islanders out there know when the BIG BIG BIG BIG Pottery Barn/West Elm/Williams Sonoma Home outlet sale (Riverhead Tanger outlet) is? I think it’s usually in August but calls to the store and Pottery Barn have provided little information. Given the cost of gas…I want to plan for that sale. I caught the sale back in February here, here and here. There are a few more items I want to pick up…but am waiting for MEGA sale. Thanks!

Lamps: Bigger. Always bigger.
Tanger Outlet Pottery Barn sale I think is August, don’t send me hate mail if I’m wrong – I just remember going to Riverhead for lobster and coming back with a rug…………
Rejuvenation has a feature on their site where you can enter your room’s dimensions and see how their lights would look in the room. Find a similar sized Rejuvenation fixture to get an idea.
