My Next House…The Pierpont Morgan Library.

July 12, 2008 by jeanmartha

I walk past this building almost everyday…and everyday I have the same thought.

“Tomorrow I’m bringing a sleeping bag!”

Oh how I love the Pierpont Morgan Library…

The plan tomorrow is to spray paint chandeliers…or at least one chandelier. Hope it doesn’t rain!

I haven’t decided if I want to be conservative and paint the BIG chandelier black…or just go for bubble gum pink or fern green for the hell of it. It’s going in the bedroom so I can be a bit funky…time will tell!

Last but not least…I found a new bar to hang out at. We happened upon a cute little grocery store and as we were walking around falling in love with the adorable place…we found an OLIVE BAR in the back. Hurrah!!! I shall belly up to this bar…quite often…mmmm almonds stuffed in olives…

Remember what the Rolling Stones said, “Paint it Black”. I love the library. Actually is would be the perfect place for a wedding. A lot of public buildings in Chicago allow for private events.

I love those little groceries, especially the ethnic ones.

I’ll be waiting to see the results of the painting session.

Dang! In that chandelier picture you can really see how scrumptious your couch is. Amazing!

I think peacock and sour apple might look pretty cool on that chandelier. Neat building, but I don’t think I’d want to live there. This house is big enough to have to clean.

Hallie…it gets worse…we have TWO of them…it’s a matching set.

I love those couches soooo much.
