Inspite of yesterday’s fun & games…the painter thinks he’ll be able to finish the kitchen today. Hurrah! This boy is a work horse. We like him. He also calls when he has ANY questions rather than just guessing. Bonus gold points for that.
Unearthed my old digital camera and took some pics last night. Here’s the new color for the bathroom. It’s Benjamin Moore’s Hancock Green. The fabric will be used for the window, dresser (holds towels n stuff in the bathroom), etc.

Here’s another pattern/fabric I’m putting in the bedroom, it matches the headboard & curtain fabric really well. No, not that blue Ralph Lauren curtain stuff you saw in the pics yesterday. Walter-The-Handyman is going to help me with the curtain rods this weekend so I can put up the REAL curtains – same fabric as the headboard. Anyhoo, here’s the other fabric that I’ll use on the table top…

Hey. Did I ever tell you that I’m the World’s Greatest Girlfriend? See, I even have my own name tag.

I wear this when I’m doing things like having the oil changed in the car, mowing the lawn, using power tools…
Hah!
Many thanks to Fancy Pants for the award!
Now, in theory I’m supposed to pass on this award to a bunch of other bloggers but that would require a selection process. Umm. There are too many choices. So…if you want the award passed on to YOU…consider it done!

You will love Hancock green. Great color and “works well with others.” hehehe. Really it does. I just get a kick out of saying that about a paint.
Who is that third fabric from? Love it.
I got that from Tonic Living. If you use code “tonicliving” in the check out you can get 10% off. There are other color waves too, here’s the blue one:

How about the striped fabric? LOVE that lime green color!
Sheri – It’s Waverly’s “Rodeo Drive” and it comes in a couple of different waves. I’m doing our bedroom with the pink wave, this is the “sea spray” wave (ooohhhh pun!). It’s an old pattern so it’s hard to find (out of print) but you can find it online/ebay or occasionally (really cheap) at WalMart for $3.77 a yard. I think WalMart buys remnants and I’ve gotten lucky a few times.
I’m in love with that last fabric — looking to cover a cork board, and that’s a good one! Perhaps it’s time for a cork board refresher over here?
Hancock green is lovely! It was in the running and in my final two (I went with Castleon Mist and often wonder wonder what could have been…)
I would wear that World’s Greatest pin every day to work. ‘Cause it would be the only respect I got most days. Did you get the pin the same day as your fancy stupid cake?
I really love the fabrics!!! I can’t wait to see the rooms finished!!!
