I had an 11AM meeting at Barnes & Nobles today. As soon as the meeting was done I raced over to Lord & Taylor. My wardrobe is just looking SAD lately. Last night we went to dinner and I looked at myself and said “ugh, I look like a tourist“. They even tried to give us the crappy tourist table at the restaurant. Sorry – have just been getting sloppy/lazy in the morning and slapping on a polo shirt & capris. Time to renovate the closet’s inhabitants! Also got a gorgeous Michael Kors blazer for $24.99 (regularly $280 or something) - and on and on it went. I walked out with 2 enormous bags stuffed to the gills. Off the top of my head I think I got 3 blazers, 4 sweaters, 4 shirts , a raincoat and 2 zip up sweatshirts for the weekends. It was all Calvin, Kors, Jones & Ralph. They’re my peeps. I spent a total of $251. Not bad for all that, right? I gotta get rid of this touristy look. Ick.
Tonight - I’m cleaning out the closet and making a BIG pile of stuff that will get dropped off at a consignment shop and/or donated.
