I’d be willing to bet you’re right on target with the Banana Cake recipe. Don’t be fooled–little old church ladies can stand their ground when it comes to recipes. I’ve seen the drama firsthand (sure, it was 20 years ago, but these things stay with you forever!)
I love that cookbook, it reminds me of the few I have from my grandma. Lots of oleo. Gotta love the oleo. My kids have no idea what that is and it cracks me up.
I will make the pumpkin bread this weekend and report back. Or the sugar cookies. Hmmm….decisions, decisions…
