I have an enormous bag of dvd’s and cd’s to giveaway over the next several weeks. Yep, there’s gonna be contests & prizes galore! So keep your eyes peeled (gross) for the contests to pop up randomly.
In the meantime, I needed a little pick-me-up and present. We received our annual bonuses last week (this would be a good time to hit me up for a loan – NOT) and I usually take a little chunk of change and buy myself something that I’ve been wanting – but don’t necessarily need (read: ‘spensive handbags…). This year I cut that budget dramatically but still managed to find some fun girlie stuff to spoil myself…

I LOVE those Docs!!! When my first pair of Doc boots kicked I couldn’t get rid of them so I made them into a flower pot.
PS: found out the hard way not to wear steal toed Gibsons through airport security.
VERY cute. I have 2 pairs of the Dansko mary janes (one in red and one in black) and I love them. Docs are always fabulous. Except the sandals. Those were just ugly.

I am the Imelda Marcos of thrift/ consignment/75%off shoes. My lucky- find -good- as -new- Danskos came apart on the soles on my big trip last summer to San Francisco. Maybe the previous owner walked in acid???? I’m a Merrels fan myself, but would love to try Danskos again. Had a great time on the bossy blog, we both eat cashews and have drummer sons. Will visit her again even if I don’t win.
